We are pleased to say that a recent survey has revealed that Kingston is the happiest place to be in London! Our house is ideally situated for London and the Olympic Games just a 5 min walk away from Kingston Station, where trains regularly go into central London and all the attractions (20 mins to Waterloo) Just a few minutes walk away from our house is Richmond Park, and the River Thames. Also on the river, just a few mins walk, is Turks Launches where you can catch a boat along the Thames to Hampton Court or Richmond Our house is only 5 mins walk away from central Kingston which has a very good retail centre and an ancient market place which is open every day. There are lots of restaurants, a swimming pool, a cinema and the newly opened Rose Theatre. Hampton Court Palace and the Olympic Cycling Road Event (which will also go through Richmond Park) is only 3 miles away within easy walking distance along the beautiful thames tow path.
